Paulsen Partners with PIC on Rebrand

One of the world’s leading swine genetics companies, PIC, asked Paulsen to assist with a soft rebranding.

Using Paulsen’s Brand Activation Plan process, team members first conducted a discovery session with PIC leadership. The second phase included a competitive review along with interviewing dozens of international pork industry experts and internal stakeholders.

“The Brand Activation Plan confirmed that PIC is very highly regarded in the global pork industry,” says Mark Smither, VP, strategic director. “An element that could get more emphasis is the human interaction that comes with the brand.”

Paulsen refreshed the brand and revised the company’s positioning statement to best represent PIC’s commitment to “Never Stop Improving.” The new look debuted at PIC’s World Pork Expo booth, in print ads and a corporate brochure.

PIC focuses on high quality genetics, reliable global supply systems, biosecurity practices and on-farm technical services to help pork producers deliver outstanding products to their markets.
